In Ghetto films’ experience, it was through advocacy devising and technical workshops, and film productions and community events that we have been able to communicate to Ghetto slums subjected to poverty.
Ghetto films has affected so strongly, it encouraged participation on Human rights in Ghetto slums, and help the community stand up against issues that are affecting their communities. Ghetto films also became an influential to young and marginalized women helping them to realize their self-worth through the messages conveyed through the films produced and screened.
Ghetto films found an effective and engaging tool to help youth understand a small aspect of a larger urban ecosystem.By the use of education with an emphasis on teaching and training the youth about film as a tool of change through advocacy in practical experience and creative means.
